Strengthening countries’ efforts on MEL for NAP processes with the tools and capacity to improve their national systems offers an important avenue for better assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of their adaptation actions.
This event will discuss the findings of a recently published technical paper by the Adaptation Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of Adaptation at the National and Subnational Levels, as well as introduce the work-in-progress toolkit for MEL of National Adaptation Planning Processes being prepared by the NAP Global Network and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Adaptation Committee. Through interactive modalities, audience members will have the opportunity to provide their feedback on both studies.
