WEBINAR | Integrating the Education Sector into NAP Processes

As climate risks become more complex and difficult to manage, strengthening the resilience of the education sector has never been more urgent. Education is not only vulnerable to climate impacts – it is also critical to building the resilience of communities and future generations. This requires coordination, collaboration, and action amongst education and climate change actors, which are core aspects of the national adaptation plan (NAP) process. Understanding this process and the key opportunities and entry points for integrating the education sector is critical for both climate change and education actors.

Co-hosted by Save the Children and the NAP Global Network on 29 July 2026, this webinar brought together more than 120 participants from around the world, launching two new resources to support education ministries and National Adaptation Plan (NAP) teams integrate the education sector into the NAP process:
