Inciter tous les sectoriels à prendre en compte la question transversale du genre et des changements climatiques dans leurs différentes planifications est une noble ambition caressée depuis plus de deux ans par le PNCC (Programme National de lutte contre les Changements Climatiques) du Ministère de l’Environnement et du Développement Durable. Cette ambition a finalement débouché sur la mise en place d’une plateforme genre et changement climatique avec à la clé le lancement ce mardi 22 juin 2021 d’un dialogue national, matérialisé par un mémorandum qui fera bientôt l’objet d’une signature.
The G7 Ministers responsible for Climate and Environment met virtually in May 2021 and among the many important points discussed, they highlighted the need for states and non-state actors to advance their adaptation and resilience goals through various initiatives, including the NAP Global Network, InsuResilience Global Partnership, and Adaptation Action Coalition.
