This event aims to demonstrate the role of states, regions, cities and other non-state actors in driving progress on climate change mitigation and adaptation and enabling the integration of global agendas at the local and regional levels, particularly regarding nature-based solutions, vulnerable communities’ inclusion, and urban–rural connections.
The session will also highlight experiences of multilevel governance and collaborations among local, regional, and national governments on the definition and implementation of climate agendas such as NDCs and NAPs.
