Women’s leadership is crucial for effective climate action, but policy and planning processes may not create the space for women, in all their diversity, to meaningfully participate and drive solutions.

This event, organized by the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network and Lensational, will explore the power of visual storytelling in bringing women’s voices into climate change adaptation planning processes—especially women from underrepresented groups and communities. We’ll showcase visual stories captured by women on the frontlines of climate change in Ghana and Kenya and discuss how these can influence decision-making in NAP processes towards locally-led and gender-responsive adaptation action.
