Assessment of Indicators, Baseline Data, and Targets for MEL in Rwanda’s Mining: A GESI-enhanced perspective

This technical report examines how Rwanda’s mining sector is tracking climate adaptation efforts through monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), with a focus on gender equality and social inclusion (GESI). It reviews existing indicators, data, and targets, identifies gaps in who benefits from adaptation actions, and proposes practical recommendations to ensure climate-compatible mining also delivers fair and inclusive outcomes.
