From June 3-6, the NAP Global Network Secretariat will be in Vancouver for the Women Deliver 2019 Conference, the world’s largest conference on gender equality and the health, rights and wellbeing of girls and women in the 21st century. The theme of this year’s conference is “Power. Progress. Change.” Over 6,000 world leaders, influencers, advocates, academics, activists and journalists will be in attendance.
Members of our team will be onsite to share learning and recommendations from our work on gender-responsive approaches to National Adaptation Plan (NAP) processes, including the key findings and lessons from gender analyses conducted to inform NAP processes in six African countries.
On June 5 at 11:20 AM PST, Angie Dazé, Associate with the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) will also present a Power Talk addressing gender equality in climate change adaptation.
