The education sector is profoundly impacted by climate change, which places the education of millions of children at risk every year. Yet, access to quality and equitable education for children and young people is also a key foundation to build the adaptive capacity of current and future generations. National Adaptation Plan (NAP) processes present a strategic opportunity to embed the education sector within broader adaptation and development planning and budgeting, with multiple benefits for both the education sector and adaptation efforts.
This webinar will launch the ‘Education in NAP Processes’ report, published by the NAP Global Network Secretariat and Save the Children, and will focus on showcasing the extent to which the education sector has been integrated into countries’ NAP processes.
