The NAP Global Network supports national-level action on the development and implementation of NAP processes, and has provided technical assistance in over 45 countries.
In-country leadership is vital to the principles that underpin the NAP process, which state that the process should be country-driven, non-prescriptive and avoid duplication of efforts.
The Network supports national-level action to advance NAP processes in two key ways:
- The Country Support Hub provides expert advice and short-term technical support.
- The Network’s in-country support programs provide long-term technical support and capacity development.
Through both the Country Support Hub and in-country support programs, the Network has also supported governments wishing to hold NAP Assemblies that convene national stakeholders.
