OUR PROGRAM
The NAP Global Network worked with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management, and Meteorology in the Solomon Islands in 2019 to establish a system for collecting and sharing information regarding its vulnerability to the impacts of climate change. Through the development of a national-level Integrated Vulnerability Assessment (IVA) database, we helped inform the development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of the Solomon Islands’ NAP process.

2020
- Virtual Learning Event | Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for National Adaptation in Pacific Small Island Developing States: Provided a platform for Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to share perspectives, experiences and lessons learned on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of national adaptation. Participants included representatives from the Solomon Islands.
2019
- IVA Database established.
- IVA data collection and workshops: Trained community-level participants using tablets.
