OUR PROGRAM
The NAP Global Network has provided support for Grenada’s NAP process since 2015.
In March 2024, the NAP Global Network and Grenada’s Ministry of Climate Resilience and Environment established an in-country NAP support program.
Our program focused on the following objectives:
- updating the NAP document with improved technical input and engagement,
- launching public education campaigns, and
- implementing a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework to track adaptation progress.
2023
- Photo essay on NAP implementation: The essay “Climate Resilience From Mountaintop to Seafloor” highlights how three communities in Grenada are implementing adaptation through the NAP process.
2020
- Development of a Technical Analysis of M&E for Adaptation: Through the Country Support Hub, Grenada held a capacity-building workshop on M&E of climate change adaptation and published the report Developing a Climate Adaptation M&E System for Grenada’s NAP.
2019
- NDC-NAP Linkages Workshop: Through the Country Support Hub, Grenada held workshop on aligning adaptation in the NAP and NDC.
2016
- Caribbean NAP Assembly: Grenada hosted a regional workshop in which 11 countries shared their experiences with the NAP process.
